Paintball Guns Spyder Victor 2
Good cheap paintball gun.?
I have been into paintball for about 2 months and im thinking about getting a new gun. I currently have a spyder victor and its not that great. I have a budget of about 300 dollars (not including gear). My friend told me to get a mini but im not sure. Could you people please recommend a good paintball gun for the budget and give some reasons why i should get it. By the way i dont want a 98 custom. thanks, CJ

What specific type of Semi-Automatic paintball gun to buy as a Beginner?
I have only played paintball once and I just want a basic gun yet I want it to be semi automatic with precise aim..not one of thos epump ones that shoot off to the side..and my price range is 60-90 bucks..anything out thee like that?

If your price range is that low you have two real options, use rental equipment or buy a second hand marker. Renting is actually a great option for someone who can't spend $300 for equipment and lots of fields have good rental markers now, my local field has eclipse SP1's and tippmann 98C with nitro as rentals and you're not going to get either of those new in your price range.
If you really want to own one try ebay, pbnation.com, and craigslist to see what's available. If you question how good a specific one is you can read reviews at pbreview.com. You may be able to find a used Tippmann 98c or a lower end electro for that price range but any new marker that only costs $60-$90 isnt going to be all that great.
and lastly no paintball marker is going to be precise like a real gun, ever. More expensive markers are generally more accurate because they have better regulators, hammers, valves, bolts, barrels, air sources, etc. In your range if you want to increase accuracy the best thing to do would be to get a gun that already comes with an upgraded barrel and make sure the paintballs you use fit snug in the barrel, not too loose that they roll out or tight so they can't be blown out.

MR2 or MR3 (both sniper kits)?
I paintball a lot and want to buy a gun. I love long range combat, and I was looking at getting the Tiberius Arms T9 Elite, but thats too expensive, and its too good for what I need. (and its the player, not the gun.) But only to some extent. So I can either get the MR2 sniper kit or the MR3 sniper kit. What are some pros and cons for both? and whats your final pick.

but you need to get a clamping feed neck for these guns there only $35 online and worth it the plastic one that comes with it sucks i bought a Halo B hopper $135 lasted 7 minutes the hopper fit just fine but the plastic neck broke there went my hopper busted tiny pieces they are easy to install

Paintball- Spyder Rodeo gun's safety not working?
its almost as if it is jammed, but i can't switch it. right now its on "safety off" but i can't get the safety back on which im worried about.
any suggestions?
I work as a tech at a paintball store and this isn't very uncommon at all. As far as I can remember owning and playing with kingmans and other spyder clones I've encountered this problem. The is usually caused by poor material in the saftey button itself. Spray some wd40 into the saftey and work it back and forth just for starts.You can do 1 of 3 things. Easiest, take a metal punch and knock the safety out and just make sure your barrel bag is always handy. Take the frame off of the marker and send it to kingman to be fixed or upgrade to an electronic frame for around 75-115 dollars depending on which brand. Pbnation.com has some really good kingman threads that might have another possible outcome. Either way take care.
