What is a better paintball gun. Spyder vs1 or Spyder imagine?
Im going to buy a paintball gun to play just for fun so nothing serious but i was just wondering which one is better. Each gun is $200. The VS1 comes with normal mask hopper and c02 tank, but the imagine comes with 20oz co2, mask, upgraded barrel and v-force Automatic hopper. Which gun is better?
Spyder is a lower quality gun to begin with. But out of the two guns I would have to say that the Spyder imagine would be better just because it is electric and gives you more options. Problem with electric guns is that you shouldn't run CO2 through them. If you are gonna spend $200 at least purchase a Smart Parts Ion. Much better dependable gun that had tons of upgrades for it. Ions are good for casual players.

Paintball Barrels (Empire Twister Spyder Barrel)?
am new to paintballing, and i am wondering if the Empire Twister Spyder Barrel - 14 Inch would be ideal for my Spyder Soinx Pro?
I read on the description of the Empire Twister Spyder Barrel - 14 Inch and it said that there are diffrent threads on paintballs. What does this mean and where can i find out the "threads" on my gun?
I also heard that the more slits are in the barrel the better. Thus I am also wondering how many if any are in the Empire Twister Spyder Barrel - 14 Inch?
Lastly I would like to ask if the JT Flex 8 Full Coverage Thermal Paintball Goggles are any good?

it is hard to find out exactly how many threads there are because no two barrels are made exactly the same way. and yes the more slits in the barrel the better the gun but if you have too many it can decrease your accuracy. as far as threads on paintballs the more expensive ones have them. i have used them and unless you have a gun that can handle those you wont see much of a difference. as far as the goggles they are great because they will not fog on you.

What is the best paintball gun for around$350 or under?
I am new to paintball but i don't want a beginner gun I want a gun that is going to last me a while and be a good gun. I would like it to be fast, accurate and light. I want it to be electronic. I kinda want it to have a full auto mode, but if not that's fine. I want it to look cool. I like the look of the of the 09 spyder electra, but some people say its junk. I want to know if it is a good gun because, if it is im going to get it. Plus hopper and nitrogen tank suggestions?
Well, if you want a really reliable gun, i would recommend the tippmann X7 for just $300. It's extremely customizable, extremely durable, doesn't chop, doesn't jam, and comes with a built in storage compartment for tools. I've seen plent of other guns but the X7 is the most reliable, customizable, durable, and comes the best stock.

Good cheap paintball gun.?
I have been into paintball for about 2 months and im thinking about getting a new gun. I currently have a spyder victor and its not that great. I have a budget of about 300 dollars (not including gear). My friend told me to get a mini but im not sure. Could you people please recommend a good paintball gun for the budget and give some reasons why i should get it. By the way i dont want a 98 custom. thanks, CJ

I believe I answered your other question over the spyder issue. An electronic marker is almost completely necessary in todays tournaments and you'll need atleast a decent highend electro to stay afloat. I'd suggest nothing lower than a smart parts ion. The kingman/pmi's stacked blow back designs aren't built to keep up in this high paced market.
Tourneys usually see players carrying dye dm's, smart parts shockers, bob long timmies, planet eclipse egos, macdev cyborgs,ect. and all come with a hefty price tag. (400+)
