will my paintball gun be ok if i dropped it from the height of about a countertop, it was a Tippmann x7?
if you are wondering how i dropped it, it was because i picked it up by the flap for only a sec so i could place it on the counter to open it and opening came undone and the marker dropped where the barrel would be ps. will this effect the response trigger in any way?
A drop from a few feet shouldn't hurt your marker in any way. The X-7 is one of the toughest guns that you can buy and it's made to take a beating and still shoot when you need it to. I've dropped mine on the ground and against rocks and it still works fine. Did it fall on the barrel? If it did, inspect the ends of the barrel for any damage so it wont shred a ball when shot. The only way to find out if anything did happen is to put it all together, gas it up, and shoot it.

What kinda of barrel should I buy for my Tippmann A5?
I have a tippman A5 with a response trigger and stock barrel (the barrel has that weird quater turn thing instead of actual threads. if that makes a difference.). I want to make my gun as long range as possible. I have shot my friends A5 that has a flatline barrel, and i liked it. But i was wondering if like a 18" or 22" barrel would be even more accurate. Also some of the 18" and 22" barrels say they're rifled... would rifling make a paintball swerve off course, or does it work good? I'm up for suggestions on other barrel options too. Thanks.
DONT BUY ANYTHING LONGER THAN 16", even 16" is a little long, a 14" will be just as accurate as a 22", and a 22" could just slow down the ball and reduce range/accuracy. If you want long range, flatline would be best. Rifled barrels (the only good ones are the armson stealth barrels) are decent, they are very accurate, but about the same range as a normal barrel. The last choice would be an apex barrel, they work like a flatline and you can adjust them to curve the ball around corners.
so:
non rifled barrels: nothing over 16"
( J&J performance makes awsome barrels)
Rifled barrels: Armson Stealth 16/13"
Flatline: Good barrel, but paint picky.
Apex: Decent barrel, but i never liked them and i doubt you would ever try to shoot around corners anyways.

I'm buying a Tippmann A5 Paintball marker from a friend, how much do you think i should pay?
My friend is selling me his Tippmann a5.
The stock barrel has been replaced with a teardop 14" barrel.
The stock trigger has been replaced with a double trigger.
The CO2 tank hose attachment is modded with a foward drop.
he's selling it with 5 pods, a harness/podholder. mask, bag, and tank.
how much should i pay for this?
we were talking 150 at first but iwant more opinions
thanks in advance
150 is decent if the gun is in good shape. A new base-level A-5 starts at around $200, and with the add-ons, you'd be looking at closer to $275-290.
The pods are cheap, the harness could be $20-50 depending on the brand and capacity, and the mask could be as cheap as $20 or as much as $50-90. I can give you more accurate estimates if you know the brands/models of the extras, but either way, it looks like you're getting a real good deal.
The important thing is how old is the A-5 and the mask, how much have they been used, and what condition are they in? If they are good, then it's a great deal, but you may still want to replace the lenses in the goggles if they are old, for your own safety. They usually run about $20 or so, and you can tell your friend that you'll split it with him, so you can knock $10 off the price (only if the mask isn't new)
